Business & Leadership Experience 

Kathleen's prior business leadership experience over 25+ years included significant roles in business development, client management, product marketing and project management with well-branded companies.  In the early 2000s, she served as a Senior Vice President/Client Executive with Marsh Inc., the global risk management and insurance consulting giant before moving to Right Management to launch a career in talent management services.  Earlier experiences included local, regional and national roles with Digital Equipment Corporation (now H-P), marketing representative in the National Accounts division with IBM and retail bank management training at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). 

Throughout her career, she has consistently driven to revenue and client satisfaction goals (making "sales clubs" at IBM, Digital, Marsh & Right Management) by accurately assessing client needs, garnering the best resources & processes, and effectively driving teams of specialists to deliver valued solutions to clients.  During the 1990s, she successfully started, ran and sold a business prior to starting her executive coaching firm - Confluent Systems LLC - in 2006. 

With prior non-profit board and leadership experience, Kathleen is Leadership Atlanta Class of 1990 and Outstanding Atlanta Class of 1993. 

Education & Professional Training 

Kathleen holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University at Bloomington where she completed her studies on a full Fellowship from the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management.  Her BA degree is in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Professionally, she is an ICF-certified professional coach.   Kathleenhas completed the following coach specific training programs - the International Gestalt Coaching Program through the Gestalt Center for Organizational & Systems Development; Marshall Goldsmith's Stakeholder-Centered Coaching method and David Rock's NeuroLeadership Group Intensive Coach Training. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as well as the Georgia Coaches Association (GCA). 

In addition to her private practice, she is or has been an adjunct executive coach with Right Management Inc.; Head Coach, Inc., C. Robinson Associates and Global Coaches Network. 

Personal

Kathleen resides in the metro Atlanta, GA area with her husband Michael G. Johnson, Vice President for Global Talent & Total Rewards at UPS.  Through marriage, she has 2 loving young adult children, Patrice & Brandon, and an adorable grandson, Jaiden Michael.
